Accessory Checklist For Brides

Okay, ladies. I’m sure you all probably already know this, but it doesn’t hurt to make sure. Make sure that during the whole wedding planning, you have to have a checklist of some sort that lists down all the important items you need to be wearing during the day of your wedding.

It has to be perfect, after all. Nothing less for the best day of your life. It wouldn’t be perfect if there indeed WAS something less of it.

So what are the accessories that the bride needs to be wear on the wedding?

Wedding shoes

Hair Accessories

  • Hairpins
  • Veils

Bridal Jewellery

  • Earrings
  • Necklaces
  • Bracelets
  • Your Engagement Ring
  • Your Wedding Band (of course)

Undergarments

  • Strapless Bra
  • Seamless Undies

Garter

Wrap or Jacket (for the chillier weddings)

Gloves

Sash

Purse

Never forget these because they are important for you on your wedding. The undergarments, in particular, are probably the most important out of all of these items on the list. You need to pick the ones that won’t mess with your gown, especially if your gown is something way too form-fitting. They also have to light-coloured or completely white. It never hurts to get pantyhose either to go along with your garter.

The bouquet

You need to also know what kind of flowers should go into your bouquet. Of course, you can just go with whatever is pretty and colourful enough that grabs attention, but perhaps you should pick them carefully. It IS your wedding, after all. The ones I suggest are good for spring weddings below.

    • Peony
    • Freesia
    • Anemone
    • Ranunculus

    • Dahlia
    • Gerbera Daisy
    • Nigella
  • For a modern and muted look
    • Astilbe

    • Sweet Pea
    • Queen Anne’s Lace
  • For the chic and stylish
    • Protea
    • Cosmos
    • Peony
    • Geranium
  • For a soft and sweet look
    • Rose
    • Camellia
    • Wallflower
    • Eucalyptus
  • For a bold and vibrant look
    • Chamomile
    • Gloriosa Lily
    • Rose
    • Calla Lily
  • Light and elegant
    • Rose
    • Stephanotis

    • Orchid
  • Lively and striking
    • Billy Button
    • Scabiosa
    • Poppy
    • Tulip

Or if you want, you could totally go for a themed wedding. For instance, you could go with an all-rose type of deco and have only roses as your bouquet or your decorations. There are so many different kinds of roses out there, after all. You could really have fun with a flower-themed wedding, especially if you’re the type to like plants in general, like me. I would definitely go nuts if I was the one in charge of managing, choosing and decorating the flowers for the ceremony and the service.
